Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, engaged in a significant dialogue with a delegation from the European Union at the governorate headquarters. This meeting, led by Wim Rimba, the Director of the Development Cooperation Department, centered on exploring opportunities for joint cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both parties discussed the potential implementation of various projects and programs aimed at bolstering development initiatives within the holy city of Karbala. The focus was particularly on the sectors of development, agriculture, and industry. Additionally, the discussions aimed at enhancing collaboration with the private sector and leveraging the expertise and programs available through the European Union.
