Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, held a meeting with the Director General of Urban Planning, Caesar Shaaban Abdullah, to deliberate on the provision of services and the urban expansion plans in the region. The meeting, which also saw the presence of the Director of Urban Planning for the Governorate, focused on a range of topics related to urban development.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Governor’s office detailed that the discussion covered several critical areas of urban planning. The primary points of focus were the basic designs for urban expansion, allocation of residential land plots, and preparation of suitable sites for development. Additionally, the meeting addressed the importance of connecting new areas to existing road networks and ensuring the provision of basic services in these regions.
