Nineveh: The governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, met with the Sinjar Coordination Committee, led by Mahmoud al-Araji, to discuss the return of displaced persons to their homes in the Sinjar district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Dakhil stated that the meeting focused on the service and humanitarian situation in Sinjar, highlighting the most pressing needs faced by the residents. He mentioned that providing basic services is crucial for creating suitable conditions for the return and resettlement of displaced persons. Al-Dakhil stressed the importance of combined efforts to expedite the return of displaced individuals and promote normalcy in the region.

The discussions also included strategies to address service needs and support stability in the Sinjar district, aiming to facilitate a smoother transition for those returning to their homes.
