Diyala: Gunmen stormed a car showroom and killed its guard in the Hashimiyat area northwest of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, unknown individuals entered the showroom and killed the guard before stealing an expensive car, sums of money, and a surveillance device to conceal evidence of the crime. The assailants then fled the scene.

The security services have begun circulating the description of the stolen car to various detachments and checkpoints in an effort to apprehend the perpetrators. The incident has raised concerns over security in the region, prompting authorities to increase vigilance and response measures.
