Gaza city: Abdul Salam Haniyeh, the eldest son of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed the death of the current Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, stating that he was martyred in Rafah, Gaza Strip. The announcement came through a tweet on Thursday evening, marking a significant moment for the Palestinian movement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul Salam Haniyeh expressed his sorrow and respect in the tweet: “May God have mercy on you, master of men.. fighting, advancing, not retreating, defending his religion, homeland and honor to spirit and basil, and greet your beloved and brother, Hajj Abu al-Abd..
