Gaza city: Hamas has called upon mediators to exert pressure on Israel to adhere to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This appeal follows the handover of the bodies of three Israeli soldiers by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, which Hamas states is part of their commitment to advancing the exchange process and ensuring the swift return of all bodies.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qassem issued a statement urging mediators to influence Israel to implement the terms of the ceasefire agreement. This move highlights Hamas’s intent to maintain the agreement and facilitate the exchange process.
Earlier today, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed that it had received the bodies of three hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, with the transfer facilitated by the Red Cross.
