Head of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and Nineveh Governor Collaborate on Journalist Support Initiatives


Mosul: The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mouayad al-Lami, met with the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, to discuss numerous projects and proposals aimed at supporting journalists in the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Lami met with Governor al-Dakhil in Mosul, accompanied by several press and media colleagues, to deliberate on initiatives to support journalists in Nineveh. Al-Lami highlighted the significant role of the Journalists Syndicate branch in Nineveh in supporting and rebuilding the city. He stressed that the upcoming period will see enhanced support for journalists and media professionals, focusing on addressing their needs and overcoming the challenges they face in their professional work.

Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil assured that the local government is committed to providing comprehensive support to the journalistic community in the province. He mentioned that a new headquarters has been allocated for the Journalists Syndicate and reiterated that su
pport for journalists will continue, as they are vital partners in the reconstruction of the city and in conveying the truth to the public.
