Karbala: The head of the Karbala Provincial Council, Dr. Qasim Ali Al-Yassari, recently met with the committee established by Parliamentary Order 112 to discuss preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage. The committee, led by MP Hassan Warboush Al-Asadi, along with several members of the Provincial Council, convened to address the primary challenges facing Karbala during this significant religious event.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Yassari highlighted the necessity of supporting Karbala in alignment with its responsibilities in hosting millions of pilgrims. He urged the committee to communicate Karbala's needs to federal authorities, emphasizing the importance of enhancing electricity supply and expediting strategic and service projects. These measures aim to develop infrastructure and improve services for both citizens and pilgrims.
Both parties underscored the need for ongoing coordination and cooperation between the local government and the Council of Representatives. This collaboration is deemed crucial to ensure the successful implementation of the service and organizational plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, thereby providing optimal conditions for receiving pilgrims.
