‘Heart of the World’ Hotel Management After the Fire: No Injuries, Material Damage Not Major


Baghdad: The management of the famous Heart of the World Hotel in the capital, Baghdad, reassured the community that there were no human losses following the fire that broke out in the hotel building on Sunday afternoon.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the hotel management stated in a press release that the fire resulted in material damage that was not major. The safety systems, including internal fire systems and both external and internal water supply systems, were promptly activated, preventing any injuries.



The hotel management expressed gratitude towards Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and the ministry’s employees for their significant role in extinguishing the fire. They assured the public that normal operations would resume shortly.
