Beirut: Hezbollah announced on Wednesday the launch of Operation "Eaten Straw." The party stated in a press release: "The Islamic Resistance announces the launch of Operation Eaten Straw."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Israeli media confirmed on Wednesday that the number of rockets fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel had risen to 100. Channel 15 reported that "the latest barrage from Lebanon is the largest since the start of the war."
