Beirut: Hezbollah issued a statement on Sunday regarding the new Israeli map. The party said in its statement that "the Israeli Foreign Ministry's publication of a map that includes southern Lebanon is the responsibility of the authority that is pursuing a path of concessions."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah urged the Lebanese government to "halt direct negotiations with Israel and file an urgent complaint with the Security Council." The statement highlighted concerns that "Israel's entry into direct negotiations with Lebanon is a blatant attempt to buy time and impose new realities on the ground."
