Washington: US President Donald Trump stated that the United States is handling its relations with Iran calmly and without escalation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump conveyed to Axios that the US is engaging in only partial negotiations with Iran while primarily observing the country's economic struggles. He highlighted the significant inflation Iran is facing and pointed out its lack of financial resources.

Trump further elaborated on Iran's dire economic situation, noting that the country is unable to pay its soldiers due to financial constraints. He also emphasized that the naval blockade has intensified the economic crisis faced by the Iranian regime.
