Hezbollah Mourns Death of Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar in Official Statement


BEIRUT: Hezbollah has issued an official statement mourning the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, expressing condolences to the Palestinian people, Hamas, and the broader Arab and Islamic community. The statement, invoking religious texts, emphasized Sinwar’s role as a leader in the resistance against American and Zionist forces.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the statement from Hezbollah leadership highlighted Sinwar’s dedication to the cause of resistance, tracing his leadership lineage from Ismail Haniyeh. Hezbollah praised Sinwar for his sacrifices and his commitment to the struggle for Palestinian liberation. The statement also offered condolences to Sinwar’s family, acknowledging their sacrifices and expressing hope for divine patience and solace.

Hezbollah reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle. The statement affirmed Hezbollah’s belief in a divine promise of victory and acknowledged the
resilience of the Lebanese people in the face of what it described as Zionist aggression. The statement concluded with a call for divine acceptance of Sinwar as a martyr, emphasizing the organization’s belief in eventual victory, dignity, and freedom for its followers.
