Kirkuk: A driver disguised as a delivery person delivered a package to a house in a residential complex in Kirkuk, claiming it was sent from Britain.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the homeowner became suspicious of the package’s contents. Having received previous threats, he promptly alerted the security services to investigate the delivery.
Following the homeowner’s report, police units, along with a bomb disposal team, were dispatched to the location. Upon inspection, they discovered a hand grenade and four bullets inside the box. The items were safely managed following established security protocols, ensuring no injuries occurred during the process.
