Riyadh:The Ansar Allah movement, known as the Houthis, has claimed responsibility for attacks on Abha Airport and the Khamis Mushayat base, in addition to targeting concentrations of Saudi forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Houthi Spokesperson Yahya Saree reported that these operations resulted in casualties and the destruction of military equipment. The attack, which involved a drone, also caused disruption to air traffic at Abha Airport.
The statement detailed that ballistic missiles targeted Saudi troop concentrations east of Al-Jawf Governorate, as well as in the Ras al-Ara and Al-Madaribah areas, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries, including among commanders. Furthermore, the Khamis Mushayat airbase was directly hit by a ballistic missile.
