IHEC Denies Curfew During Upcoming Parliamentary Elections


Baghdad: The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) has officially denied reports suggesting a curfew will be imposed during the parliamentary election days set for November 11.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the commission issued a statement clarifying that the security plan for the elections will focus on surrounding polling stations with tight security cordons. This decision is aimed at maintaining order and ensuring the safety of voters during the electoral process. The commission emphasized that these measures are in place to facilitate a smooth and secure voting experience for all participants.
