Integrity and Investment Heads Discuss Strategies to Combat Bargaining and Extortion in Reconstruction Efforts


Baghdad: The Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, and the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Haider Makiya, engaged in discussions on creating a fair and secure environment conducive to investment. Their focus was on accelerating reconstruction and building efforts in the nation, free from bargaining and extortion.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the leaders emphasized the importance of taking action against those involved in bargaining and extortion. They noted that such acts create an investment-repelling environment, posing obstacles to government reconstruction and development initiatives.
