Baghdad: The Federal Integrity Commission revealed today violations related to conflicts of interest involving 31 officials during the month of June, as part of its report on achievements in the areas of financial disclosure, investigations into officials' assets and conflicts of interest, and monitoring job performance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission explained in a statement that the Prevention Department received 4,967 financial disclosure forms last month from officials required to disclose their financial assets. The Commission noted that it conducted 120 visits to various state institutions and departments to investigate the accuracy of the information submitted by officials in the financial disclosure forms.

Furthermore, several activities related to the Transparency and Public Funds Protection Program were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice/Judicial Planning Department and the Investigations Department of the Commission. This included conducting two workshops at the Ministry of Health/Baghdad Al-Karkh Health Directorate, during which a detailed explanation was provided regarding the contents of the Code of Conduct for Public Employees No. 1 of 2016 and its first amendment in 2017.

The Commission also indicated that the team tasked with monitoring and following up on procedures in all ministries and non-ministerial entities related to the implementation of the e-governance and electronic payment (POS) projects completed two reports. These reports focused on the team's visits to the Shiite Endowment Office and the Ministry of Oil/North Refineries Company and its affiliated entities.
