Baghdad: The National Intelligence Service announced the arrest of Zaid Ibrahim Ali, known as Zaid al-Muharib, who is accused of numerous extortion and defamation cases and against whom several judicial arrest warrants had been issued.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Service stated in a press release: “The arrest took place in Syria, in coordination with the security authorities there, and he was then taken to Iraq and handed over to the competent judicial authorities.”
