Interior Ministry: Concrete Wall Completed on Iraqi-Syrian Border


Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the completion of the concrete wall along the Iraqi-Syrian border as part of efforts to strengthen security fortifications and protect the border.



According to Iraqi News Agency, Ministry spokesman Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun stated that the Border Forces Command was actively involved in the construction of the concrete wall. The wall stretches north of the Rabia area toward Fishkhabour, marking a significant step in securing the border.



Colonel Al-Hassoun mentioned that the construction work utilized the resources and capabilities of the command’s concrete plant. This strategy was aimed at accelerating the pace of the project and enhancing the readiness of the border, thereby reinforcing the overall security measures in the region.
