Baiji: The Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the implementation of inspection tours to secure the oil pipelines between the Al-Samoud and Al-Siniya refineries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun, stated that the General Directorate of Energy Police is actively conducting morning inspection tours. These actions are in response to directives from the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Hussein Al-Awadi, with the aim of securing the oil pipelines that extend from the Al-Samoud refinery in Baiji to the Al-Siniya refinery.

Al-Hassoun emphasized that these tours are a vital component of the broader security initiatives designed to protect national resources and critical infrastructure. The ongoing efforts are intended to prevent any attempts of theft or unlawful interference with the oil pipelines.
