Kirkuk:The General Directorate for Narcotics Affairs has announced the successful infiltration of an international drug network, resulting in the seizure of 20 kilograms of hashish in a neighboring country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out by the Kirkuk Narcotics Affairs Directorate, which is part of the General Directorate for Narcotics Affairs. Utilizing professional intelligence efforts that extended beyond national borders, the units managed to infiltrate a drug-trafficking network operating within the neighboring country. The mission began with luring a member of the network, leading to his arrest within that country’s territory.
Following the initial arrest, further investigations uncovered the network’s broader operations, based on the confessions and information provided by the first suspect.
