Geneva: Iran confirmed on Wednesday that the third round of its indirect negotiations with the United States regarding the nuclear issue will be held on Thursday in Geneva. Fatima Mohajerani, the Iranian government spokesperson, stated that the negotiations are set to take place in the Swiss city, with further details to be disclosed as the talks progress.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, countered recent claims from the United States concerning Iran’s nuclear program and its development of intercontinental ballistic missiles. He categorically denied the allegations, which followed statements suggesting Iran’s involvement in missile development.
The second round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington occurred last Tuesday in Geneva, following a prior session in Muscat, Oman, on February 6. These talks represent ongoing efforts to address longstanding issues related to Iran’s nuclear activities and to seek a resolution through diplomatic channels.
