Baghdad: Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, met and held talks with Haibat Al-Halbousi, the newly elected speaker of the Iraqi Parliament on Wednesday. The discussions between the two officials focused on the latest developments in the region and shared issues between the two countries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, earlier on Wednesday, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf sent a message congratulating Al-Halbousi on his new position. The meeting underscores the ongoing diplomatic relations and cooperation between Iran and Iraq, highlighting the significance of dialogue in addressing regional matters.
