Baghdad: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stressed that the indirect negotiations with the United States, which will be held in the Sultanate of Oman, will be a test of Washington’s intentions and seriousness.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghaei said that Iran will give diplomacy a “real chance” in talks with Washington.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman wrote on his website, “X”: “Saturday’s talks are a test of America’s intentions and seriousness.”

He added: “With good faith and full vigilance, we are giving diplomacy a real chance; and America should appreciate this decision, which was made despite its hostile rhetoric.”
