Baghdad The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had informed the government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government of the need to stop the activities of “terrorist and separatist” groups.

This came in a press conference of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, today, Monday

On Saturday (September 24, 2022), the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of a new military operation inside the Kurdistan region.

Last Wednesday, the Iranian forces launched an intense missile bombardment on areas in Erbil governorate, targeting schools and residential areas in Sedkan district and Koysanjaq district, causing the death of 18 people and wounding more than 60 others.
