Baghdad: The Iranian judiciary’s Mizan News Agency reported on Wednesday the execution of a person on charges related to the protests that swept the country in January.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the individual executed was identified as Mehdi Khanki. He faced charges of involvement in activities on behalf of Israel, the United States, and hostile groups. Additionally, Khanki was accused of manufacturing and possessing weapons.
