Isfahan: Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), has declared that the organization is at the forefront of medical science, thanks to its advancements in plasma technology, radiopharmaceuticals, and deuterium-based innovations. This announcement was made during the inauguration of a new wound care unit dedicated to martyrs of the nuclear industry at Al-Zahra Educational and Medical Center in Isfahan.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami highlighted that the newly inaugurated clinic is the twelfth in the country to utilize cold plasma technology for treating wounds. Over the past two years, these specialized clinics have treated approximately 2,500 patients, achieving full recovery, demonstrating the significant impact of this cutting-edge technology.

Eslami emphasized that the AEOI’s integration of plasma technology, radiopharmaceuticals, and deuterium applications has positioned Iran as a leader in developing novel treatment methods. He noted that these achievements not only place Iran on par with leading nations but potentially ahead in certain medical fields.

Eslami’s remarks underscore Iran’s commitment to advancing its medical capabilities and highlight the significant role of the AEOI in contributing to these developments.
