Tunis: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Ambassador Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Bahr Al-Ulum, met with the Tunisian Minister of Transport, Rachid Amri, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Ministry of Transport.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ambassador Bahr Al-Ulum emphasized the importance of leveraging the historical relations between the two brotherly countries. He praised the development in communication and official visits in recent years, particularly after Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani’s visit to Tunisia, which established a foundation for cooperation in various fields. The discussions also focused on opportunities for cooperation and investment in the maritime and air transport sectors.
The Tunisian Minister of Transport expressed readiness to enhance cooperation with Iraq. He emphasized working to overcome obstacles to raise the level of cooperation and exchange expertise in transport and tourism, aiming to serve the interests of both countries and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two peoples.
