Baghdad: Under the auspices of Al-Zaidi, 48 agreements, memoranda of understanding, and economic cooperation agreements were signed between Iraq and various American economic and financial sectors. Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi oversaw the signing of these agreements, memoranda of understanding, cooperation agreements, and partnership declarations between various public and private sectors in Iraq and the United States on Friday evening, Baghdad time. These agreements establish a clear path for economic and financial cooperation between the two countries and elevate the relationship to a higher level of mutually beneficial exchange.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agreements and memoranda of understanding included cooperation and partnerships between the Ministries of Oil and Electricity and their affiliated companies, as well as other government sectors. ExxonMobil, KBR, GE Vernova, Shell, and Halliburton were among the companies involved, alongside a cooperation and service introduction agreement between Starlink and the Communications and Media Commission. Additionally, a cooperation agreement with Halliburton was signed.

The agreements signed between the two sides included a memorandum of understanding between Keylight Technology and the Iraqi private sector, as well as with PepsiCo and several other companies regarding the construction of oil pipelines to Banias on the Mediterranean Sea. There were also agreements for partnerships in the field of education, and agreements between the private sector in the supply and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.

Further agreements and memoranda of understanding included those with KBR, UOP, Polaris, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), PPTA (a leading company in electronic networks), and two agreements with Fritolay for agricultural sector development. There were also partnerships with companies specializing in the agricultural, commercial, and industrial fields.
