Baghdad: The head of the Security Media Cell, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, has confirmed that Iraq will host a National Sovereignty Conference by the end of this year. This announcement comes as the country prepares for the complete withdrawal of US forces, with September 30th set as the final deadline for their departure.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Maan disclosed these details during a televised interview, indicating that the committee responsible for limiting weapons to state control is actively working across various governorates. He emphasized that the decision to restrict weapons to the state is backed by all national political forces.
