Iraq Assumes Presidency of Arab Economic and Social Development Summit from Lebanon


Baghdad: The preparatory meeting for the fifth session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit commenced in Baghdad on Monday. During this significant gathering, Iraq officially took over the presidency of the summit from Lebanon.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the summit’s presidency transition marks an important step for Iraq as it prepares to lead discussions on key economic and social development issues within the Arab region. The summit serves as a platform for member countries to collaborate on initiatives that aim to enhance economic stability and social progress across the Arab world.
