Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil has announced the completion of procedures to resume the export of oil produced in the Kurdistan Region via the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry confirmed that the procedures align with the mechanisms outlined in the budget law and its amendments, as well as within the production ceiling specified for Iraq by OPEC. The ministry emphasized the importance of coordinating with regional authorities to ensure the delivery of produced quantities from operating fields to the Oil Marketing Company. This step is vital for beginning the export process through the Iraqi-Turkish pipeline and the port of Ceyhan, following the contracts signed with nominated companies.
