Baghdad: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned statements made by the occupying entity regarding what it calls the ‘Greater Israel Vision,’ describing them as a clear manifestation of expansionist ambitions that threaten the security and stability of the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the ministry said these remarks constitute ‘a blatant provocation to the sovereignty of states and a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter,’ stressing the need for a clear and firm Arab and international stance to confront such policies.

The ministry noted that these escalatory positions coincide with the continued adoption by the occupation authorities of aggressive policies and violations against the Palestinian people. It affirmed that such practices, coupled with political rhetoric based on expansion and annexation, require effective action to halt the occupation’s transgressions and put an end to the policy of impunity.
