Baghdad: Iraq condemned the attack carried out by the Zionist entity’s forces against an international diplomatic delegation of 25 ambassadors and consuls during their inspection visit to the Jenin camp, with the aim of monitoring the ongoing violations committed by the occupation forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that targeting diplomatic representatives is a flagrant violation of international law and diplomatic norms. The ministry emphasized that this incident reflects a clear disregard for the safety of international missions and constitutes a breach of the sanctity of diplomatic work.
The statement further highlighted Iraq’s renewed solidarity with the Palestinian people. It called for intensified international efforts to end the occupation and enable the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination and establish their independent state.
