Baghdad: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of the recent plan approved by the Zionist entity aimed at fully seizing and occupying the Gaza Strip, labeling it as a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry expressed Iraq’s absolute rejection of this escalatory move, which it views as a continuation of policies of starvation, displacement, and mass killings against innocent civilians in Gaza. Such actions, the Ministry asserted, constitute war crimes that demand international accountability.

Iraq has consistently supported the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, with a particular emphasis on the establishment of an independent state with al-Quds as its capital. The Ministry urged the international community to fulfill its legal and humanitarian obligations by taking immediate measures to halt these violations.
