Baghdad: The Republic of Iraq expressed its solidarity with the Republic of Colombia following the earthquake that struck several regions, resulting in tragic loss of life and property.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that, during these difficult times, Iraq extends its deepest condolences to the government and people of Colombia, with sincere wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The statement added that Iraq affirms its readiness to provide support and assistance to overcome the effects of this painful humanitarian disaster, hoping that the crisis will be resolved as soon as possible.
