Iraq Ranks Second in Arab Oil Exports to the United States


Washington: The US Census Bureau announced today that Iraq has secured the second position among Arab countries in terms of oil exports to the United States for January 2025, with a total export value exceeding $400 million.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iraq exported 5.62 million barrels of oil to the United States during the same month, valued at $442 million. This positions Iraq just after Saudi Arabia, which holds the top spot among Arab oil exporters to the US. Following Iraq, Libya ranks third, Kuwait fourth, and the United Arab Emirates fifth, with the latter exporting one million barrels.
