Baghdad:More than 271,000 passengers flew with Iraqi Airways on 1,585 direct flights last month, according to the Ministry of Transport.

According to the National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Transport highlighted the significant operational activity of Iraqi Airways in September. The national carrier conducted 1,585 direct flights, serving various sectors and reflecting a growth in air traffic between Iraq and countries worldwide.

The Director General of the company, Mustafa Talib, stated that Iraqi Airways is actively working on upgrading its operational systems, expanding its flight network, and enhancing fleet readiness. These efforts are aimed at improving performance levels and offering more efficient and sustainable services to passengers.
