New York:Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein of Iraq and Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, held talks focusing on the export of Iraqi sulfur to Morocco.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The discussions emphasized strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Morocco, exploring ways to enhance joint cooperation, and reviewing future commitments between the two nations.

The ministers explored the potential for expanding economic and trade cooperation, specifically concerning the export of Iraqi sulfur to Morocco. They also addressed regional issues of mutual concern, agreeing to maintain communication and coordinate efforts to support stability and security in the region.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Bourita extended an invitation for Minister Hussein to visit Morocco, which Hussein accepted, planning to visit at the earliest opportunity.
