Baghdad: The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned the passing of artist Abdul Razzaq Al-Azzawi on Thursday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the syndicate expressed their deep sorrow, saying, "With deep sorrow and grief, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the passing of artist Abdul Razzaq Al-Azzawi, who passed away today."

The statement further conveyed a prayer for mercy upon the artist and sought patience and solace for his family, loved ones, and colleagues, concluding with, "To God we belong and to Him we shall return."
