Baghdad: Iraqi embassies and consulates in Arab countries and around the world organized celebrations on the occasion of Iraqi National Day. Iraqi embassies in the Sultanate of Oman, Lebanon, Syria, and Algeria organized celebrations to commemorate this cherished national occasion, which embodies Iraq’s historical journey towards building its modern state and consolidating its position in the international community. The celebrations were held amid an atmosphere of pride and honor for this day, which expresses the unity of the Iraqi people and their aspirations for a more prosperous and stable future.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi embassies in Stockholm, Yerevan, and Tbilisi also organized similar celebrations to mark the occasion, attended by a number of members of the Iraqi community, guests from Iraq, and foreign dignitaries. The Iraqi Consulates General in Frankfurt, Toronto, Gaziantep, Mashhad, and Ahvaz celebrated Iraqi National Day, with the attendance of members of the Iraqi communities and a number of diplomatic mission staff.
The celebrations concluded with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and visual presentations about Iraq’s historical journey, amid an atmosphere of pride and appreciation for the homeland and the sacrifices of its sons.
