Baghdad: The National Teams Department of the Iraqi Football Association held a meeting on Monday with the technical and administrative directors of the U-20 national team. The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Nasser, the second vice president of the Iraqi Football Association and head of the National Teams Department.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting included key figures such as the deputy head of the National Teams Department, Khalaf Jalal, and department members Imad Yassin and Abdul Razzaq Al-Shalah. Executive committee members Ghalib Al-Zamili and Sabreen Hamed were also in attendance. The focus of the discussion was on the administrative procedures necessary for the upcoming youth team’s training camp in Thailand.

The training camp, scheduled from August 15 to 28, will feature three friendly matches. The U-20 national team is set to face Kuwait on August 19, Indonesia on August 22, and Iran on August 25. These matches aim to prepare the team for future competitions by providing them with international exposure and experience.
