Baghdad: The Iraqi Housing Fund announced the start of online applications for loans in the governorates of Maysan, Muthanna, and Wasit, beginning at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Fund stated in a press release that the loan applications are intended for construction and addition purposes only. The applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated quota for each governorate is exhausted.

Those interested in applying for the loans are encouraged to complete the necessary information on the Fund’s website. Applicants are required to upload only the front side of their national ID card, along with a building permit and a property deed issued in 2025 or later.
