Siena:The Supreme Judicial Council has announced the recovery of 4 billion Iraqi dinars in a financial and administrative corruption case.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the recovery was facilitated by the Rusafa Investigative Court, which focuses on integrity and money laundering cases. The amount was recovered for the benefit of Rasheed Bank.

The judge overseeing the case stated that the recovery was a result of ongoing efforts by the judiciary to protect public funds and address corruption. Judicial procedures and thorough investigations led to the recovery, and legal actions will persist against those who exploit illicit means to profit at the expense of public funds.
