Iraqi Meteorological Organization Predicts Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures

Baghdad: The weather forecast predicts clear skies and a rise in temperatures in the coming days. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Meteorological Organization has released a statement forecasting generally clear and hot weather on Wednesday, with some cloud presence in the southern region. The statement detailed that temperatures will be consistent in the central region, slightly cooler in the northern region, and slightly warmer in the southern region.

The maximum temperatures for Wednesday across Iraqi governorates are expected to be high, with Dohuk reaching 43°C, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah at 44°C, Anbar at 45°C, and Nineveh and Kirkuk at 46°C. Salah al-Din, Diyala, and Babylon are projected to hit 47°C, while Karbala and Diwaniyah may see 48°C. Baghdad is forecasted to experience a temperature of 49°C, with Wasit, Maysan, Najaf, Dhi Qar, Muthanna, and Basra potentially reaching 50°C.

The organization also indicated that the weather on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will continue to be generally clear and hot, with temperature patterns remaining similar across all regions of Iraq.
