Karbala: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) confirmed on Tuesday that reverse transport operations for pilgrims will continue until the Arbaeen pilgrimage ceremonies of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) are fully concluded.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the PMF's Service and Engineering Directorate continues to oversee the reverse transport of Arbaeen pilgrims following the peak of the pilgrimage by transporting visitors from the Khan Al-Nus Bus Terminal in the holy city of Karbala to Najaf Province.
The statement added that the directorate's personnel will remain on duty until the final hours of the pilgrimage, carrying out field responsibilities by providing transportation services and organizing the return convoys to ensure pilgrims travel back to their home areas safely and smoothly.
The PMF stressed that transport and return operations will continue until the pilgrimage has completely concluded and all pilgrims have safely returned to their provinces and countries, as part of the organization's ongoing service efforts to support and ensure the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
