Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has forecasted clear skies across the country with varying temperatures in the upcoming days.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization issued a statement detailing the weather conditions expected over the weekend and the start of the week.
The statement highlighted that on Saturday, the weather will remain clear throughout Iraq. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the central and southern regions, while the northern region will experience similar temperatures as before. The maximum temperatures for Saturday are forecasted to be 40°C in Dohuk, 41°C in Sulaimaniyah, 43°C in Erbil, 44°C in Nineveh and Kirkuk, 46°C in Anbar and Salah al-Din, 47°C in Baghdad and Diyala, 48°C in Najaf, Karbala, and Diwaniyah, and 49°C in Babylon, Wasit, Muthanna, Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Basra.
The organization further noted that Sunday will continue to see generally clear weather, with temperatures remaining similar to Saturday across the country. Moving into next week, Monday is expected to be generally clear with a slight decrease in temperatures compared to the previous day. By Tuesday, the weather will remain clear, with temperatures similar to those on Monday.
