Baghdad: The House of Representatives in Iraq has decided to postpone the consideration of appeals concerning the validity of the membership of some of its members. This issue, originally scheduled as the first item on Saturday’s parliamentary session agenda, will be addressed in future sessions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Parliament’s decision to defer this matter means that any disputes or appeals regarding the legitimacy of certain members’ positions will not be resolved until later sessions. The delay leaves the status of these memberships uncertain until they are reviewed at a later date.
