Baghdad: Iraqi President Nizar Amedi departed for the State of Qatar on Monday: Iraqi President Nizar Amedi embarked on a journey to Qatar with the purpose of offering condolences to the nation's leadership and citizens.

According to Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi is traveling to Qatar to offer condolences to the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Al Thani family, and the Qatari people on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

President Amedi expressed the Republic of Iraq's solidarity with the State of Qatar during this time of mourning. He extended heartfelt condolences and emphasized the deep fraternal ties that unite the two countries and their peoples.
